BSA has over 60 years’ experience in design, development and manufacture. This ensures that your product is manufactured in the most efficient, cost-effective way. We will work with you to achieve this in 2 ways:
Product Design
- By refining product design for manufacture - engineering out, wherever possible, issues that will complicate or compromise the moulding process. This design input is supported by CAD facilities, generating 3D models for visual checks, assembly fit, or even the creation of physical models. The same CAD data enables product performance analysis, such as its ability to withstand stresses – or for mould flow predictions. BSA has worked with customers to develop many creative design solutions to product or manufacturing problems.
Tooling
- Many companies have experienced the long term costs of the wrong tool design. We have developed close, long-standing ties with a number of selected toolmakers, and distilled the years of experience into our own comprehensively detailed tool build specification. This combination gives our customers the right tool, at the right price, with the right long-term results.
- Our toolmaking partners operate in this country, Portugal and China – we select which one to work with on each project dependent on its budget, complexity and size. The mould tool is your asset – we simply manage the design and build process on your behalf, and make sure that yours is the right tool for the project.
