Warehouse Manager
Overall Responsibilities
Reporting to the Commercial Manager or the Commercial Director
Every employee has a responsibility to ensure all areas and workspaces are kept clean, tidy, and organised to ensure a safe and clean working environment.
To maintain clean and organised warehouse spaces and yard
To maintain accurate stock records within the company business system
To instruct Warehouse Operatives on daily movements of stock.
To comply with the BSA Mouldings Ltd Health & Safety Policies.
To comply with the BSA Mouldings Ltd Quality Management System.
Principal Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day warehouse operations
Supervise and train warehouse staff
Coordinate receiving, storage, and despatch of goods
To ensure all stock and finished goods are stored in a safe and secure manner.
Maintain warehouse equipment and arrange repairs when needed
Good organisational and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and time-management skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Flexibility to ensure warehouse cover is maintained at all times
To ensure stock is located in the correct areas (Production, Finished Goods, BSA Raw Materials, Customer Invoiced Stock and Quarantine)
To ensure that Daily Production output is booked into stock correctly and in a timely manner.
To ensure that all Despatch Picking Lists are processed in a timely manner.
To ensure that kits are picked in a timely manner, highlighting any shortages to Planning Office.
To ensure that Kanban areas are topped up to required levels, highlighting any potential stock outs.
To ensure that all Purchase Order / Goods In receipts are processed within 24 hours.
To ensure all stock is labelled correctly with Stock No. / Batch No..
To liaise with Production to ensure kits / materials are moved lineside.
To work closely with Production Planners to maintain stock levels for customer requirements.
To utilise warehouse space in an organised manner.
To organise and carry out stock checks as required by the business. - Defined monthly, weekly and ad hoc checks
To review consumable stock check results and raise Purchase Orders to maintain min / max stock levels, ensuring that there are no Production stoppages due to stock outs.
To review and investigate any stock discrepancies prior to sending results to Management.
To achieve stock accuracy target of 98%.
To ensure outside areas of the site are kept organised and safe
To ensure all documentation is filed correctly.
To maintain and report KPIs as defined by the business.
To carry out any other reasonable task as requested by the Management.

ApplyFactory Operator
Factory operators are responsible to the Shift Setter/Supervisor.
The principle function of the job is to maintain production from their assigned machine/s, ensuring that the Quality Standard is met. Packing the moulded parts as instructed. Also to work on assembly lines within our production areas.
The factory operators are responsible for ensuring their working area is clean, safe & tidy.
Pack off product from assigned machine/s according to the Product
Specification, performing secondary operations, e.g. trimming, as directed.Maintain levels of raw material in bin, and master batch in hopper.
Continuously check the quality of moulded parts against the First-Off standard at the machine.
Keep the machine, and the surrounding area, clean, tidy and safe. Sweep up any spilt material pellets immediately, do not leave any objects on the machine bed.
Follow instructions regarding packing off mouldings from machine – ensuring that you have fully understood the instructions
Packing spec – ensure that you have the correct packaging material at the machine, following the directions on the Product Spec for quantities

DAY SHIFT
Mon – 07.30 hrs – 18.00 hrs
Tue – Thur 06.00 hrs – 18.00 hrs
NIGHT SHIFT
Mon – Thur 1800 hrs – 0600 hrs
This shift pattern rotates each week
Hourly rate currently is £13.25 per hour
Hours worked over 40 hrs is time and a 1/3
Overtime rates
Saturday time and a half
Sunday double time
Attendance bonus £10 per week
Night shift bonus £20
