Production Planner
Overall Responsibilities
Reporting to the Commercial Manager
To have regular effective communication with the customer.
To maintain and update the business system accordingly in line with business requirements
To support the Commercial Manager as required.
Excellent organisational skills required.
You have the responsibility to ensure all areas and workspaces are kept clean, tidy, and organised to ensure a safe and clean working environment.

Principal Responsibilities
Experience in using a manufacturing system.
Good working knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP) and related business systems.
Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
Producing Job Packs in line with the production plan.
Review job orders and accordingly establish priorities for production.
Review production plans to identify and report potential risks to the Commercial Manager.
Receive customers’ orders, check against quote and input to BSA system.
Raise purchase orders for materials and parts when required in production.
Communicate production updates to Commercial Manager and customers on regular basis.
Take responsibility of customer orders from receipt to shipment.
To monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget.
Maintain BSA system accuracy.
To monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget.
Communicate effectively with customers ensuring regular updates on status of orders.
To carry out any other reasonable task as requested by the management.
Planning Assistant
Overall Responsibilities
Reporting to the Commercial Manager.
To have regular effective communication with the customer.
To maintain and update the business system accordingly in line with business requirements.
To support and assist the Production Planner’s as required.
Must have PC skills using mainly Microsoft Office, including emails.
You have the responsibility to ensure all areas and workspaces are kept clean, tidy, and organised to ensure a safe and clean working environment.

To comply to the BSA Mouldings Ltd Quality Management System.
Principal Responsibilities
To assist the Production Planners when instructed.
Producing Job Packs in line with the Production Planer’s requirements.
Checking materials and parts are available for production.
Keep filing systems organised and scanning of documents current and up to date. Working to the current processes.
Answer telephone calls in a timely manner and direct to the correct member of staff.
Communicate effectively when required with customers, suppliers and BSA personnel.
Experience preferred in using a manufacturing system. (Training will be given)
Maintain production records as and when required.
Raise purchase orders for consumables and packaging.
General administrative duties as required.
To carry out any other reasonable task as requested by the management.
Factory Operator
Factory operators are responsible to the Shift Setter/Supervisor.
The principle function of the job is to maintain production from their assigned machine/s, ensuring that the Quality Standard is met. Packing the moulded parts as instructed. Also to work on assembly lines within our production areas.
The factory operators are responsible for ensuring their working area is clean, safe & tidy.
Pack off product from assigned machine/s according to the Product
Specification, performing secondary operations, e.g. trimming, as directed.Maintain levels of raw material in bin, and master batch in hopper.
Continuously check the quality of moulded parts against the First-Off standard at the machine.
Keep the machine, and the surrounding area, clean, tidy and safe. Sweep up any spilt material pellets immediately, do not leave any objects on the machine bed.
Follow instructions regarding packing off mouldings from machine – ensuring that you have fully understood the instructions
Packing spec – ensure that you have the correct packaging material at the machine, following the directions on the Product Spec for quantities

DAY SHIFT
Mon – 07.30 hrs – 18.00 hrs
Tue – Thur 06.00 hrs – 18.00 hrs
NIGHT SHIFT
Mon – Thur 1800 hrs – 0600 hrs
This shift pattern rotates each week
Hourly rate currently is £13.25 per hour
Hours worked over 40 hrs is time and a 1/3
Overtime rates
Saturday time and a half
Sunday double time
Attendance bonus £10 per week
Night shift bonus £20
