BSA joins the Climate Change Agreement Scheme

 

BSA Mouldings Ltd has been accepted into the Climate Change Agreement Scheme. As a business in an energy intensive industry our use of power will now be constantly monitored and reported to the Environment Agency. Power usage, measured as kWh v Polymer processed, is essentially targeted so that the efficient use of power has to improve year on year if we are to stay in the scheme. BSA has set out to achieve this by investment in modern machinery coupled with sound management and operating techniques.
While participation in CCA is voluntary the benefits to BSA in terms of our focus on operating costs and targeted power efficiencies right through to 2023 can only help to improve our performance in an already competitive business sector.
